Painting the Light: Plein Air Residency in Normandy
For the second year, I was invited to the prestigious Château de Bonnemare residency in Normandy, France. My work, including portraits of the Château’s lords, was acquired, and a public exhibition organized by the French Ministry of Culture showcased the creations of this international cohort of artists.

Kim Weissenborn presents a solo exhibition at the Médiathèque Jacques Baumel, Rueil-Malmaison, France, July–August 2025. Featuring 40 paintings, the show explores light, memory, and atmosphere, including works depicting a newly created local garden reminiscent of Monet’s Giverny. Collaborating with Urban Artists Lek & Sowat
International artist Kim Weissenborn painted a portrait of renowned urban street artists Lek and Sowat. The artwork was later acquired by the artists themselves and celebrated in an exhibition at Atelier Grognard, Rueil Malmaison, France.
